The first
known burial in the Highlandlake Cemetery was in 1878. The cemetery
association was formally created in 1880 when the land was sold by C. A.
Pound to the association. The cemetery association dissolved in 1906,
however, many of the records continued to be kept by what is now known
as the Historic Highlandlake as well as descendants of the original
trustees. We have placed links on this page to all the known original
cemetery records. As more information becomes available, we will post it
here.
